5 movie novelties of November, which are most awaited in cinemas, have been announced.
The list includes blockbusters, potential award nominees, and a few mainstream films.
With the arrival of November, blockbusters and contenders for various awards are returning to the cinema screens, hoping to get the biggest box office. Film rating Rotten Tomatoes named the top five films of the month.
The review aggregator ranked Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II on the first place in the list. It will be released on November 22 and will be a sequel to the Oscar-winning film of 2000. We’ll see Paul Mezcal, Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal set in historical Rome as Lucius (Mescal) enters the Colosseum to exact his revenge. Blockbuster is a potential award contender.
The second place was taken by Wicked: The Enchantress, which will appear on the screens simultaneously with Gladiator II – November 22. The tape is based on the Broadway hit of the same name and tells the story of the friendship of witches. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo will play the iconic roles of Glinda the Good and Wicked Witch of the West, respectively. The tape will also feature such hits as Popular and Defying Gravity, which will surely delight fans of the Broadway show.
In third place is the Disney premiere of Moana 2. In the sequel, the main character, in search of new adventures, together with her companion Maui again sets out on a journey through the waters of Oceania. It will be possible to observe their travels from November 27.
The fourth place is occupied by Heretic, where Hugh Grant will test the faith of two young missionaries who have appeared in his house. However, his methods contain a veritable puzzle house full of deadly games. Abroad, the tape will appear on screens on November 8, and in Ukraine – on the 22nd.
The film Codename Red is in fifth place. According to the plot, the head of security of the Northern Plus (Dwayne Johnson) turns to a famous bounty hunter (Chris Evans) to help him save Santa Claus (JK Simmons) from a kidnapper and save Christmas. In the USA, the tape will be released on November 15, but in Ukraine it will appear on the 7th. t
